We chose marijuana, LSD and cocaine because they are three of the most prevalent drugs in American culture today. Many subcultures have risen on foundations of specific drugs, such as marijuana and LSD with hippies, and gangsta rap with cocaine and marijuana. These three drugs are the most appropriate representatives of the ’90s drug scene because of their significance and popularity.
