Counselors
and teachers who provide career development services to high school, technical
school, college and university students of all ages. Description:
This two-part program examines current trends, issues
and applications for using the Internet in career counseling.
Participants will examine Net-based assessment tools (cost-less), career
planning activities websites for job listings and career information services
across the country, on-line counseling services and guidelines for using the
Internet in career counseling. Participants
will need to bring a formatted disk (PC) to download information as they learn
to use the Net effectively. Presenter:
